Well, today is 15 years since my grandma was taken from us. I miss her lots. She was so special. She was a tiny, short, fiesty little person with a laugh that would make you laugh right along with her. I really didn't get close to her until I was older, like after high school. My mom and I spent most of our weekends going back and forth to my grandmas to take care of her grocery shopping and any other errands that she needed done. Up until the day she died we had that routine. So needless to say, when she died we were left with wondering what we were going to do with our weekends. It was hard but we adjusted.
It is weird because this weekend we went to visit my uncle before he started his chemo treatments. My aunt gave me this little prayer book that belonged to my grandmother. She read it every night while she was staying with my aunt and she gave me her rosary. These items are so special and I will cherish them always.
Well, I just wanted to let my grandma know that I was thinking of her and that she will never be forgotten. I LOVE YOU GRANDMA!!!!
