HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Hi there,

Well, this weekend I celebrated my birthday with my family. It was so much fun. We had so much food, I think I am still full from it, my cake was yummilishis and I got so many neat things.

Well first of all, my birthday was Thursday, February 5th. I woke up to a couple of pleasant surprises....

My mom got me my lil' yearly Ty Beanie Baby and a card. My brother-in-law dropped off this awesome gift basket from him and my sister plus two books that I have been wanting to add to my vampire collections.....

Later on in the day I received beautiful flowers from MaryAnn & Jesse and a huge bouquet of balloons and teddy bear from my mom.....

Me and my mom just had dinner at home and she did the sweetest thing ever....she baked me a cake and frosted it.....I must admit, off ALL the fancy shmancy cakes I have had in my 44 years, this was definitely the best cake EVER!!!!!

So on saturday, all the fun begins.....Chloe wishes me a Happy Birthday....She knows she is my best present ever....

MaryAnn ordered my birthday cake. It was white cake with strawberry filling, with blood red roses and black writing on white frosting....she said that was the closest she was willing to go for a Twilight inspired cake.... It was yummy and pretty............

Now for the good stuff, like I said I was totally spoiled and well taken care of this year (as I am every year :-)).....

My sister and brother-in-law totally surprised me with my gifts. I got a Gift Certificate to WoolGirl (so Gidge, get ready because I will be calling you for advice on how to spend it) and an authentic Ed Hardy purse (my secret vice for designer purses has given me a reputation....) The only thing was that she had to order it and it didn't ship out until Saturday so she gave me a picture of it. I just can't wait. It should be here in a couple of days...

From my brother and sister-in-law and kids I got this really really cool bag for my knitting projects.....My neice picked it out and she sure does know her aunt Julie very very well....

My mom got me a very cute pair of pajamas, and the Charlain Harris True Blood series, again contributing to my fascination of vampire series'..........

So here is all of my loot......

But most of all, the best gift ever is spending it with my family and just enjoying each others company, laughing and making memories. I am truly truly blessed to have such a great family. I am very fortunate to have them in my life, to have them there for me through every trial and tribulation that I have had in my life.....that is my Best Present Ever.......Well, I just wanted to share my happiness with everyone.
