Hi there!!
Well, as the year is coming to an end and a new one is embarking, I thought now would be a good time to reflect on the past year. I must admit that this year has had to have been the most rewarding one for me.
The biggest accomplishment was getting my new home. A new home that I got on my own. Just me. No husband or significant other to help out. Just me. I never thought divorce could end so good, but it did for me. I am so grateful for my family and friends who supported and encouraged me through this new journey. To be honest, I would not have made it without them by my side supporting all of my decisions.
I also completed another course in Psychology. A few more units closer to getting my Psych degree. I was hard considering that I took it smack in the middle of moving and trying to settle in and working tons of overtime. But it truly paid off.
Well, my family and I did a lot this year. We enjoyed quite a few baseball games, a football game, Christmas parties and lots of other fun stuff. We try to make the most of everything and not take too much for granted.
There were some disappointments this year as well. Having to put one of my dogs down was very emotionally draining. But I have come to terms that he is better off and is no longer suffering.
Well, this new year I look forward to spending more time with my family and and continuing with my education. I plan on staying in better contact with my friends and do more fun things.
Well, I guess that is enough reflection for now....I don't want to bore you...hahaha....
I will keep in touch after the new year starts and see how things are going for all...
Take care and Happy New Years!!! May it be prosperous and filled with all the blessings of your desire..
Julie
