Hi there, well just thought I'd jot down a few little paragraphs to keep you updated. Well, this past saturday we spent all day at Hoover High where my nephew played his first high school baseball game. It was a double header. I was so proud of him. He started as catcher, he pitched three innings, hit a double and had an RBI..... He hasn't pitched for about three years and had no practice, but you sure in the heck could not tell...he did so good...here are some pics of him in his glory...
Now onto the knitting...Here are my recent goodies....I finally used the GC that I got from my sister and BIL for my b-day to WoolGirl and I was not disappointed. And I also received my second Twilight series club shipment and the yarn from Rowan that I ordered for the Esme tester scarf that I am working on. I decided to go with a different yarn because I didn't want to wait....I figured I could return this yarn, yeah right????? For those who know me too well, well ya' know, that is not going to happen...
I am expecting my last custom order from FFtC probably by tomorrow. After that, I am definitely going to have to stop this.. I joined her Vamp Club and her Oz club which both start in May. Hmmmmmm..........hopefully I can hold off for that long....
Oh ya, guess what Gidge???? Guess who wants to learn how to knit? Yep, MaryAnn (my sis). I told her I would give her my cheap yarn to practice with. She even wants to learn how to dye and spin one day...can you imagine her doing that?
For those of you who don't know her, this is a girl who DOES NOT own one pair of jeans, goes shopping to the huge malls in slacks and heels, who does gardening in high heeled mules and all of her jewelry on, does not put gas in the car, TOTAL PRISS....
She is modern day version of Green Acres...but I love her to pieces...she is my soul mate and I am more than happy to share this with her...

Love all your goodies!
Hey, I don't pump my own gas either!:)
I saw your stash on Rav! Dang Girl! You're set to out-pace me soon! LOL!!! You're getting some REALLY cool stuff tho. The "GOOD stuff"!! I'm ever so wanting to fly over there to see it all!
Here I sent you yarns to "practice" on and you have all PRIME stuff now. Well, you can always donate it to someplace.
I totally KNOW how your sis is, that's why I've been asking you if she KNEW what you were up to. I CAN SO PICTURE her spinning and dyeing roving. She just seemed the type to me to want to do that. That's too funny. She'll have a house full of yarn soon too I'm sure. Get her on Rav, she'll be hooked soon enough.
PS. Remember when I was in town? I had to pump my own gas then....LOL!!! My brother looked at me and said "YOU gotta do it"! So I did. He's SO Non-chivalrous. (I don't usually because of my hand/wrist problems).
Tell Little Tommy Great Job!! It's good that they're in sports and doing active things. My Girls don't want to play sports but they do other stuff.
(((Hugs!)))
