FIRST SOCKS!!!!

Okay, well I have started working on my first pair of socks. I have just got done doing the cuff for the second time. Well, here is a pic. My camera makes it look more pastel than what it actually is.

The first time I dropped a stitch and tried to fix it but it just kept slipping and slipping and by the time I was able to grab it, I was better off just starting over so I did.

Well, it looks small but my BF Gidge says that they stretch. I sure hope they do. They are for my mom since she ALWAYS gets the first of whatever I make so fortunately she has tiny feet and skinny ankles.

I am like addicted and can't put it down. When I am working from home, I type a report , work on a round , type another report , work on another round ...no wonder I am working until 3:00 in the morning ...hahahaha...

So here is what I used:

Yarn: Red Heart - Heart and Sole w/aloe

Color: Water Color Stripe

Needles: #3 DPNs (pattern called for #2 DPNs but I tend to knit and crochet tight)

Pattern: Self Striping Knit Socks by Red Heart #LW1619
