SPRING IS HERE!!!!!!!

Hey Everyone!!! Hope all is well. I finally have a moment or two to jot down some lines. I just love this weather. It is so beautiful and I love working in my yard.....I have finally done the landscaping in my backyard (well my gardener did) but I picked out all the plants, trees and flowers and where they should go.....So that is a lot of work isn't it? Well here are some pics of the completed project....

Even Daisy likes the flowers and stuff. She is an inside cat but has snuck out a couple of times and once she realized her clean white paws got dirty she ran right back in.... She is so silly....
Well here is the front of the house. I cannot wait until the roses start blooming....I just love roses and I thought I lost my hydrangea plant with the freeze but it is coming up full bloom....YEA!!!!!!

Can you see the azalea bushes. They are kinda small but they are fuscia, purple and pink....they are going to be so pretty....

Okay, well enough about my landscaping project.....So how was everyone's Easter? Ours was good. We just did the usual you know, park, BBQ, cracked a bunch of confetti eggs and hid Easter eggs..

My brother in law Jesse has got to be the best BBQer EVER......His ribs just fell of the bone they were so tender... But the best part was spending it with my family.....

The only sad thing about it all is that the kids (my niece and nephew) are too big for Easter Baskets.....so we make little gifts for ourselves filled with goodies and CHOCOLATE..... Yummy...............

See the cake that I made? Since my sister gives up sweets for lent, I always have to make her an Easter Egg Cake..................And of course she doesn't share...just kidding. Well, all in all it was a good day....and we had fun.

So anyways, not much more has been going on...Spring Break just went by way too fast. Work has been really busy as usual. I am so excited because I made some changes and decided to slow down on one of my per diem jobs. I told them that I would do evening stuff during the week if needed but NO MORE WEEKENDS for them.....So now I only work one weekend every third weekend for my F/T job....yea......I am so glad things worked out that way. I really need to slow down and have been wanting to for awhile. Now hopefully I can get busy on all my unfinished crocheting and scrapbooking projects and FINALLY concentrate on getting a hang of this knitting thing .....I am sure that will make you happy huh Gidge???? Well, I guess that is all for now. I have to get back to working on my term paper..... Talk to ya'll later..........Julianne....aka......Julie
